What is a Glimmer?

Updated: Jan 1

A glimmer is a fleeting moment where we may feel safe,

joy, peace, happy, calm

or relaxed.

Examples of a ‘Glimmer’ could be,

A hug from a loved one,

Smelling something beautiful ,

A smile from a child,

A cool breeze on a hot day,

Hearing a song you love.

A ‘Glimmer’ is the opposite of a trigger.

Glimmers help to regulate our nervous system.

They are tiny moments that help reduce

emotional distress.

Bucks Family Network provide therapy in the UK for

families, couples, adults and children.

Online or in person.

We are ready when you are.

What is your favourite glimmer?

What you don't heal you pass on.

Be well,

Justine
